The first Kiev-4a I bought has sadly croaked, it seems that the gears of the film advance/shutter cocking have gone fubar. So I got myself another Kiev-4a from Fedka, and now my Jupiter-8M lens is a bit loose in the internal mount. My old Kiev is from 1960, this one is from 1978. I know that the standards of production for these cameras have changed over the years from what I'v read.
So what could I do to consolidate my lens? Teflon tape? Buy another one and play the roulette? Or try another 50mm like the Helios 103?
