J8 vs i50 vs i61

Few shots with above mentioned lenses! Sun was settling down rapidly so by the last shot color cast was totally different...

I love them all 🙂 my favorite is Jupiter of course, but 61 looks nice... I50 was picked from a trash dump, and wasn't cleaned properly! 🙂

J8 is the one I prefer too. I61 seems very 'cold'

...as I said, the sun was falling pretty rapidly... you can even see difference at J8 shots...

I61 is nice at full aperture... just look at those small circles in top right corner.. i love them 🙂

..and I forgotten to mention.... they were mounted on Santa's Bessa using Dan's (dostacos) adapter's 😀

The I-50 seems to have less contrast which corresponds to my experience, especially with the rigid version. I have all these lenses including a collapsible I-50 which seems to have more conrast than the rigid. The bokeh of all these lenses is fine in your pictures; some people think the I-61 is harsh, but certainly not in your photos. I enjoyed your photos and what a nice young lady.

This is great for a new-to-Zorki/Fedmania creature like me - i have 5 refurbed I 22 '' Elmar s '' [OOPS ! ] , 3 x i 26s [ two seriously waxed up ! ] as free lense caps with suitable Zorki/feds , plus a couple of £7 new I 61lds and a sole new J8 to play with !
With a really lovely serviced Leica IIIc to play on !
i liked the I 50 best , but then, I like the low contrast of the sole I 22 that I have used for slides .

My personal favourite for daylight shooting is the rigid I50. But mostly because its more comfortable to focus than the J8 or I61.

Those all look like keepers to me, Nikola. Sunset is a great time to be shooting. Great light, rapidly changing, a variety of different effects. And each lens there has it's own strengths. Well done. And as mentioned, you also had the bonus of photographing a subject who apparently always takes great photos. That helps.

Mine has misaligned rings on it, so aperature goes way beyond 2 and only to 11-16f... and focus ring is slightly off... 🙂
