I've been today through Danish Zealand, from Roskild to Elsinore (always sounds to me like places from Tolkien's world). Old beater OM1 is still going strong.
A few films later, my last stop was in Louisiana, Museum Of Modern Art. To my surprise, there was last day of exhibition "Faith, hope and love" by Jacob Holdt, and he was there personally! Exhibition presented a few hundreds of prints, grouped by themes, with stories behind each theme. Those are images of poverty, hate, racism, couples, religion, Ku Kluns Klan, weapons, city dwellers, ghettos, junkies, loneliness - covering a few decades from 70s to date. Very impressive, though sometimes disturbing. Who said photojournalism is dead?

Lucky you. I think he's great and I'd love to see that exhibition but unfortunately I'm a bit too far away for a day trip. I have his book "United States 1970-1975" published by Steidl and it's brilliant.
