I've been impressed by Nachtwey's photography for a long time, and it's a fascinating video interview, hard to watch, but everybody should watch it.

Real Men Shoot Film.
There was a documentary film about Nachtwey about 15 yrs ago called War Photographer. Its worth watching if you like his work, or if you're just interested in how photojournalists work.

Yep. War Photographer is a brilliant--but harrowing--documentary.
I've got a copy of Nachtwey's Inferno, which if you can find one at a reasonable price nowadays, I would recommend anyone who is moved by his work to grab a copy of. His work is always extremely discomfiting. He takes some of the most beautiful, and beautifully composed, photos of some of the most horrific stuff it is possible to imagine. And some things you'd never imagine if he hadn't photographed them.
