I believe the 50 1.8 was her all time fav in shooting
And she also liked a 65mm
I read somewhere when she went to do a portrait of the Queen
She arrived with a small brown paper bag which held her OM
The Queen asked her if she would like to try her Leica
But Jane declined ...😉
I quite agree, she's wonderful. I have a couple of her books and never tire of looking at them. Possibly her most well known image is the one of Beckett, which I love. But she's made so many great portraits over such a long career.
Cheers
Brett
Is this record for consecutive positive posts on RFF? ;-)
The Beckett photo is superb and rightly famous. My fave of hers is the Bjork picture: the contact sheet is amazing; "the" shot jumps straight out from the rest even at a glance.
