I just came back from freestyle in los angeles and they sell the cases now.

I couldn't resist and so I picked one up :).

There will be.

I talked to someone behind the camera and they said that they are working on it.

If Japancamerahunter supplies them, then I see little reason for them not to carry the 120 cases. The only reason may be perhaps if nobody buys the 35mm cases.

carrying 10 rolls of film is kind of a lot though..I think 4-6 would have been sweeter but I've been wanting one of these for a while now...

The site with all the details and updates as well as cups, t-shirts and of course cameras. These things sure would help to keep the camera bag tidy, there is nothing worse than watching a good photo opportunity pass by because you can't find that last roll of film that you know must be in the bag somewhere.
Except maybe finding you left the lens cap on!

Bellamy very graciously send me some of the 35mm film boxes. Great idea - and I use them all the time. They can also hold loaded IXMOO cassettes (though it gets quite heavy with 10 of them! Will aso hold Nikon Rf cassettes as well as most of the Voigtlander finders! Ten rolls go surprisingly fast when you shoot! By now they are essential for me! Keep them loaded on the table - just grab one when I head out - or two'three for a short trip. I use white tape on them for marking whats in them

very cool!

There should be a w/nw Japan Camera Hunter film box thread!

I have a quick question: How do you post large images? My attachment is small, do you host it with a different website?

Looking forward to the 120 boxes going live. Been holding off on a 35mm case for like 8 months to save on shipping.

Simon Becker taught me how to - but I just remember the essential key-strokes - and sizing the image on my Flickr, save and then upload to RFf. Computers still baffles me - hence only film images from me (exception was a handful done with the Leica MM - but I treated these as film and it worked).

I agree that we need a new softie but I don't think " FILM IS COOL" will fit ... hopefully the next softie will come in both sizes :)

I'll probably order two of the 120 cases. I find the 135 cases too big. I'd rather have 5-in-a-row design. The 2x5 design is too thick for my liking.

They are replicas of the Fujifilm cases. They were discontinued a few years ago. Bellamy apparently had a niche demand that justified that he recreated the moulds and started his own production - probably not a cheap enterprise to set up.

The time when you could buy the originals at Yodobashi Camera for $3 is long gone. If you want them, I recommend you support Bellamy's initiative.
