Are the TX-1 / TX-2 still available (i.e. in production) in Japan?

Yeah...g'day mate! Tokyo resident here.

Don't think they're still in production. But geez, them things are plentiful in used market, with the champagne coloured TX-1 being more common. Seems that average price for body + 30mm is about 135k yen.

Can you check the lens? I would think a TX-1 with 45mm lens at 135K yen is right ($1750 usd)

The 30mm lens is a $3K usd item - 230K yen - by itself.

Yes, sorry, you're right. I meant the 45mm lens.

They had to cease production due to the fact that the camera contained hazardous materials that were first banned in the EC.
