Japanese X100 ad.. wow!

It left me nonplussed. It's the kind of thing I would expect a teenager to produce. And I don't have much respect for ads that depend so heavily on sex; even less sordid sex. Further I don't appreciate the downbeat and depressing, which I think this is, and which is the easy option for the weak artist. Bittersweet is better (and harder) and more reflective of the human condition, in my humble opinion.

Kurosawa made a movie right after the war called "Stray Dog". I think the theme is a strong one for Japan.

I liked it-good ad. Cliches are OK every now and then. Besides, they're selling a camera, not producing a film for Cannes.

I don't understand Japanese so from what I got out of this ad is that buying an X-100 will get you laid. That or leaving you so broke you'll be digging your dinner out of a trash can.😀

Perhaps Fuji should of marketed Neopan in such a way. Then perhaps it would still be around.😉

I rather got rejected. I rather buy things than obscure ideas generated by marketing depts. If they would start doing something real, world would be much better place.

edit: if there's place for such video, it should come from someone who has wandered around with camera. Better yet, as intro for exhibition. What it's now? Just another "we know what you want" fairy tale. I'll rather buy idea Coca Cola is tasty 😀
