Thanks. How refreshing. All I need to know for the rest of my life, in fact.

"You are your own person. You do whatever the hell you want. You have no obligation...."
Everyone is arguing what street photography is here all the time recently. It is whatever it is to you. What more meaning about anything is there to know?
Listening to Jay IS quite refreshing!

Be open..... walk slow.
Indeed advice for life let alone photography. If only I could remember it every day!

Whatever
Learned more in that 2:43 video than I probably have in the last 2 years. Quite timely, as I'm heading out on a 10-day 'wander' in New Mexico in a couple of weeks. The video definitely altered my plans.

I have always been a fan. Also of Pete Turner.

Don't even know why this had to be said. Do what you want unless someone's paying you to do what they want. Hardly profound.

I have followed Jay Maisel for about 10 years and I have always liked his approach. He has his home/studio in New York and he does workshops. This is a documentary on Jay.
