Jeff Bridges might not be the greatest photographer ever, but for some reason his works always make me smile.
His photos are good, but beyond that it's the feeling of a sympathy for his subject, a simplicity and a restrained elegance that make them worth watching.
And well, he's the Dude after all. What could anyone ever say against that!

I must admit having (sorely) missed Iron Man on the big screen, but still want to see it. The Bridges photos (and text) are wonderful. It's funny that I only saw The Big Lebowski totally by chance, since I'd convinced myself early on that I wouldn't like it; of course, I ended up loving it. (I was rather late warming up to the Coen Bros. thang.)

Ambitious, but rubbish
Perhaps more important - elsewhere on his site I see they're making Tron 2!

Yeah I looked through his website a few months back. As always he's got some interesting shots.

I must be the only red blooded male in N. America who didn't think Iron Man was such a great flick – adequate, yes; great, no. Still, Bridges is a cool dude. I've seen his still photography before. The playfulness is fun. I like the behind the scenes look at film making.

Based on his books, I've tried shooting "regular" scenes with an Xpan. Believe me, it is alot harder to do than it looks. His panoramic scenes are great - inspired even. I may have to break out my Xpan and try again. But it takes alot of practice, and I'm not a dedicated enough pano shooter to get good at it. I use mine mostly for landscapes, which is of course too obvious to really teach you anything about pano framing.
