I feel so lucky to have met and spent time with Jim. He was gracious and generous towards me. His work influenced and inspired me from the begining. His statement of "...it's either art, or it's crap." has always stuck with me.
I've only seen interviews, but this guy had as much of an in-your-face attitude as Jagger ever did. It showed in his images. For his place and time, he was it. I see so much of the 1960s through his eyes.
