The company I work for is currently looking for an experienced Unix (AIX, HP-UX, Solaris) System Administrator. Big company, 30,000+ employees across the South of the US. Relocation and other benefits possible. Just trying to help RFF friends who might be looking for work or know someone who is looking for SA work. I gain nothing from this financially or otherwise. Send me PM and I'll give you my offline email address to send me a resume directly. No BS, you guys know my reputation. This job is in Wilson, NC - one hour's drive from Raleigh.

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

Pity I'm not willing to relocate, I'd love to run Solaris again. Good of you to post this here though.

William,

I'd hate to take RFF conversations too far off topic, but I know that jobs are tough to come by these days. I'd hate for an RFF friend to be out of work while I knew about a job opening and didn't speak up. Feel free to pass this information on if you know of someone that could benefit!

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

PS - I lived in Kenosha & Sturtevant for about six years - love that part of the country! Madison is very cool. And very cold, as I recall. 75 degrees here today! Hehehehe.

I would like to move back to NC again. I have 20 years experience
as a programmer analyst/project leader but no unix stuff.
Oh well.

Bill, very kind of you to post this opportunity. Jeez, and just what I do for a living too -- but I'd miss my cold, snowy, icy Toronto winters! :D

I'm more of a troubleshooter than an admin, in other words I'm the guy the admins call when they're stuck :)

So I'll stay in cold and wet northern germany until I'll find something apropriate somewhere in the caribean!

This is a new concept to me. When a problem bounces to me as system administrator, there's no one left to call

Gene, either you're Linus Torvalds or you allready called Microsoft Hotline :)

Bill, Thankyou for posting this. I wish I could get Nina to take something like this so I could be a full-time house-dad, but she won't do it!
