I just bought a Jobo 1530 extension drum that lets me develop more film than a standard 1520 drum alone. If I add the 1520+1530, the volume for inversion development is a whooping 485+725ml = 1220 ml. For rotation, it is only 240+330ml = 570ml.
I have never developed film with rotation, I've always used the inversion method. Can I do rotation by simply putting the drum on a table and continuously roll it back & forth? Would save me a lot of money on chemicals.
