Ok, so I got this tank and now what?

I tried loading it with an old film and I think I got that.

Now there's one problem left. It takes 450ml and that's a lot of chemicals for one film.
Do you think that it's possible to reuse the developer, say Amaloco AM74 1+19, for a second film within a day?

Get an A&P tank (the tank with the easiest-to-load reels of all the kinds I know & tried) from www.fotoimpex.de (around 15 Euros, I think) - just needs 300 ml.
I don't know AM74, so I don't know whether you can reuse it, but it is usually not recommended to reuse film developer (for reasons of consistency) - with a few exceptions like 2-bath developers.

Roman, the 2400 Tank can be loaded without a changingbag or darkroom. The filmcartridge goes in the middle and the film is spooled on the reel from the inside.

Amaloco 74 1+7 is good for 5 films and 1+19 as a one shot developer.

So I tried it, and it works fine.

Amaloco 1+7 shall be good for 5 films and this is the third HP5 I souped in it.

Success! The contrast is a little low, but that could just be the scan. Do you plan to give longer developing time to the last two rolls, in the expectation that the developer will at that point be nearer exhaustion?

Some developers are intended for replenishment on a regular schedule, and then they continue to be used without time adjustment...

Old thread ; ) I just got one of these and have ruined 2 rolls of film ..... well half rolls .
and was successful with one .... I cut the roll in half thinking it was completely taken out of the film canister .... The film gets bound up on the reel .. cutting the film thinking you have come to the end ... now I am scared to use this thing ....
