Dear all,
I have had the Jobo CPE2 system for a while but I always seem to have problems getting the thing to switch on! The safety plug has a reset and test button. You are supposed to press the reset, then test then reset but I don't seem to be able to get the machine started when I do this. I usually end up pressing the buttons and on/off switch randomly before the thing eventually comes on!

Is there a fail-safe start up sequence?

PS The bath is filled with water when I switch on.

Thanks.

I have a CPA2 not a CPE2, but it sounds like you've got an electrical short which is tripping a circuit breaker (either on the unit or on your outlet . . . I couldn't tell from your post). Electricity and water are not a great combination. I'd find an electrician to check it out or contact Jobo tech support. Mainly I say this because I have found Jobo products to be well-designed and to basically do what they are supposed to with little fuss. If you are having difficulty, there is probably something that needs fixing.
