Joey Meyerowitz at the Tate Modern

For those in/visiting London, the Tate Modern has a display of Joey Meyerowitz's work in the 'Start Display' (Nathalie Bell building).

His work is presented in a "B/W vs Colour" setup; an interesting way to think about how colour adds to the story - or how B/W adds to the geometry.

It's free as well, a rare thing in London.

Once I finished doing what I had to do I often had the afternoon to myself and spent that time at the Tate .

Ahhh, the Tate Modern. I lived in London for over 11 years, and I loved going there frequently. I saw several of my favourite photography exhibitions there: huge prints of Seydou Keïta's work, Bruce Davidson's Subway series, Stephen Shore's American Surfaces (displayed the way it was the first time it was exhibited), and many others.
