Looks good. But I've had good results with Tri-X @ 320 in HC-110B for 5 1/2 minutes.

Thanks, I get something and then I stick with it. I had to buy a new development tank recently which has me back to basic math with the new volumes.

I like your shots very much. I'm not big on grain or high contrast and you have it. And I like this one by you, as it has tones and low grain.

Kenny, you've done a great job of taming the harsh contrast that you get shooting in the Texas sun.

Speaking of basic math, John, can I ask how you decide on the amount of Rodinal? These shots were from two rolls I developed in the same tank and I just arbitrarily upped the Adonal to 3ml from your stated 2.5ml per 500ml of HC110h. I'm not a big math fan but can usually muddle my way through given a formula.

well done Ken. Lovely control. I may try John's alchemy one day but I am content with 200 asa and HC-110 H for now. Keep up the good work.

I just added Rodinal and liked it so I haven't tested. I felt, maybe wrongly, that it sharpened the negatives a little, and popped the highlights. I don't know if you did this but I only agitate (3 time) every 3 minutes or 4 minutes. That holds the highlights back, supposedly.

I followed your agitation method as well, John. These negatives do 'look different' to my eye and your description is as good as any. And now, I need to order some Tmax 100 like I've been planning for a while. A quick question? You use this on medium format as well?

Yes, but a different development time for TmaX100.
