i was lucky enough to see john hiatt last night..he played at a small theatre on the university campus!
fantastic show by one of my favourite singer/songwriters.
managed to get his set list, waited by the tour bus after the show and he was gracious enough to sign it for me...we even had a conversation, short but fun!

John Hiatt is one of the most underrated singer/songwriters in the U.S.
I had tickets for one of his concerts in Dallas back in the late '90's. Unfortunately, the night before the concert, I had a freak accident and ruptured my Achilles tendon and was not able to attend the concert. I still have the tickets. He has played this area several times since then, but for various reasons I have never been able to make up that show.
I have always heard that he puts on a great show. It is great you got to meet him and get his autograph. I envy you.
