OK, imagine yourself with your new Leica, happily snapshooting away on your French holiday in Saint-Paul de Vence, the bohemian colony on the Cote d'Azur. You meet a friendly communist in a local bar and get invited to shoot Picasso one day, Matisse the next, and then get lab advice from Henri Cartier Bresson! Along the way you work for Harper's Bazaar in New York, taking iconic pics of Muhammad Ali among others.
