Saw a nice wall-full of original prints by Czech photographer Josef Sudek (1896-1976) at the Houston museum of fine arts near the cafe entrance. Most were silver gelatin, but some were Carbon prints. Beautiful stuff!
Interesting guy, one arm. I can't even get a good image with two arms, let alone with a LF camera. I've only seen one carbon print and it was beautiful. We had a guy that lived about 10 miles away from me that did carbon prints almost exclusively. I didn't know him but I was lucky enough to see one of his prints (after he died). After you see one you want to give up.
Be sure to check out David's guitar sit too, talk about beautiful.
