I wonder how often you NY RRF'ers do meet? My niece has an apartment on Manhattan that my wife and I plan to borrow for a long weekend or so. It would be nice if this could coincide with such a meet. We will not be able to this meeting at the 18th though.

We have had meet-ups monthly since December 2009. A January Meet-Up had a huge turnout and is now urban legend. Always a good time and lots of laughs. Sometimes over the top; in an earlier meet-up we had the first annual M-body beauty pagent. LOL. Generally the meet-ups are towards the end of the month.
I slur the English language and call Manhattan- Madhattan.
There's always mucho cool gear. This meet-up I will bring my Ti Wetzlar M6 that will feature a TA Rapidwinder, TA Rapidgrip, Leica 1.40X magnifier and a custom Calzone intergrated neck/handstrap that has been rigged for use with my 75 Lux.

Looking forward to seeing this Cal-original neck/hand strap, not to mention the Rapidwinder (snagged one off eBay?).
I'm going to bring my new Nokton 35/1.2 'cause it's about the coolest lens I've ever owned and so some proselytizing.

It really is an amazing lens. One of the best ive ever used. Unfortunately, I am going to be Leica-less for the next year or two and it has to go!

Wow! A meeting in NYC. Sounds like a dream for me.
Make sure to try "Jever Pilsner" but stay away from any kind of "bock beer" in such a heat. You won't be able to hold you cam anymore after some. 😉

Andre you dog. Now that you are coming this gear hog has to bring out all my MF gear as a payback for the biggest GAS attack ever created. Expect to see "Junior" a Mamiya 6 with a 50/4.0; a Rolleiflex 3.5F "Whiteface" freshly overhauled by Harry Fleenor and with a new Maxwell screen; and a Tele Rolleiflex version 1.

For people who missed the legendary January Meet-Up, Andre brought out some of his cool gear and one of his rigs was a Rolleiflex. When I checked out his Flicker I not only became inspired: I became obsessed. Since the January Meet-Up Andre has been laying low.
Now I'm totally broke... LOL.

Agreed! I had a great time as well and it was a real pleasure meeting and spending the afternoon with such an awesome group of people! I hadn't been able to make it to a meeting since the giant January bash and I'm really hoping to be able to attend more frequently going forward 🙂
