Canada June/July RFF Meet

I checked out the GSMNP website. It looks like there are two campgrounds reasonably close to Cherokee. I also re-read the thread and it was mentioned that the NP campgrounds will likely be crowded and perhaps not oru best option. Someone run over to LFF and get David back over here to spread some knowledge. After all, this event is just a little over a week away.
 
Let's plan a local meeting at our fav place--Manuel's--for later in July.
How about the 23rd?
Should be cooler inside!

Hi, Paul... heading back to the ER this morning. Enterint the great unknown zone again.

Whenever I get back, I will enter the 23rd on my calendar! Who else wants to show up for a cool libation?
 
Done. Two days in the hospital, test after test, 5 bags of fluids, meds, etc. and now we are home. Almost lost her again this week...

I am toast. Thought I could spend a few minutes reading and posting...not so.
 
Sorry to read about your wife Dave. My prayers are with you brother. Keep her rested. I couldn't make it either. I've spent right at $700 on vehicles in the last month.
 
Hey, guys...thank you for the kind words.

Been a lot of sleeping today and working on fluids. Gonna take a long time for her to get to feeling better since it is not only the dangerous dehydration and her thyroid but the effects on other organs that prompted the hospital stay.

In the meantime, I have been able to periodically slip onto the forum to keep my sanity. All of you are a big help in one way or another. Thank you all.🙂
 
Dang Dave....that wasn't how the weekend was supposed to be for you. I'm sorry to hear of all the difficulty; and yet I'm glad to hear you still have your better half with you. Holly and I will keep you both in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Barry! Had to take her back to the ER this morning for congestive heart failure. They are keeping her until they can get stabilized again. Hopefully, we can get her back on the mend by tomorrow night.:angel:
