As part of my excursion this afternoon, I stopped into a sort of local "antique" store--a few honest antiques and a lot of junk. I love these places.
I was casually looking for something for mom for Sunday(Mother's Day holiday here in the US). Found a glass vase for her that wasn't too pricey and then looked around for what ever cameras, etc they might have.
First thing I found was a box of 30 or 40 year old snapshots. 65 cents each or 10 for $5. Started to go through 'em and found five school group photos. From the elementary school I and my siblings went to. Of my first grade class. So I bought one(they were all the same photograph).
Camera wise the only thing that might have been interesting was a large camera case which had inside an Argus C3(? that's what the price tag read, but I thought the Matchmatic was after the C3.) Matchmatic and a ton of accessories. All in decent shape. But they wanted $200 for the lot. Would'nt seperate any of it or come down significantly on the price. Not that I especially want another Argus but some of the other stuff would've been fun: 16 or so flashbulbs, the tiny shoe mount Argus meter (that responded to light), and a few filters.

You don't need that Argus, Rob. Just visit it when you drop by.
At that price they should have it for a *very* long time...

Keep showing interest and what you may be willing to pay. If no one else shows intererst for awhile...they MAY give in, just to move it out....good luck
