jupiter 12 on canon ?

Did someone tryed to mount a jupiter 12 on a canon Iv-sb2?

I tried this a couple of weeks ago with a J-12 from 1963 and a Canon II S2. The 39mm threads were different, I would give a quarter turn and it would not go further. I gave up.

FWIW I just mounted my jupiter-12 (3.5cm) on my Canon VI-T and it fit fine.

Just tried it, and it goes on just fine with no interference. I have had the lens on a leica IIIf but never tried it on the Canon before.
