Jupiter-3: very dramatic photos

I have pretty big images in the gallery, but not the full scans.
The lens appears to be very clear, and makes old school dramatic shots very well as you can see in the power transmission lines.

The bokeh in the evergreen shots should make you salivate. The two closeups are at full 1.5 aperture.

I like to shoot into the Sun, and for this a hood is clearly necessary; my little Kodak digital seems to thrive on direct Sun shots.

I am still not completely certain about the focus accuracy as the two closeups could have focused anywhere; I need to use a tape measure.

Photoethnograpy.com has an interesting arrangment made from a loup and a focusing screen to help calibrate focusing.
