Jupiter 8 / Fed2 candle "test"

Hi All,

I shot this over the weekend after someone posted they wanted to see some "wide open" Jupiter 8 shots recently. All of the lights were off in the house except for this single candle. Shot with my trusty Fed2 with a Jupiter 8 that I just recently purchased from the RFF classifieds.

Shot at f2 @ 1 sec. (sorry for the dusty negative...)

For me, my Jupiters are better with BW than with colors. (Same impressions I'm getting from your pics)

My Jupiter-8 is fast becoming my favorite lens. I mostly use black and white but I also like the soft, low contrast it gives with color. With my sample at least. The accuracy is not so great but when stopped down a little, my favorite lens!

Mine is pretty soft-wide open too, but does improve greatly by f4 or so!.

Just got some more negs scanned and here are a couple of additional shots with this J-8 and expired Kodak Gold 100. If I recall correctly, I'm believing these are at f5.6 or f8.
