I've long had a funny suspicion that the values floating around were performed on 'low' resolution materials, such as the peak figure of 38 lp/mm.

Jupiter-8m with Kiev 4am and Adox CMS 20 shot at 12.

Would like to repeat this test, as the focus was off by a fair margin, so the first chart that had focus due to DoF inclusion, needs focus calibration.

This is f/2, so you can see how far forward it was.

Here is f/8

Element 10 appears to just barely have some contrast between the lines at ~4:1 contrast patch

That is 70 lp/mm, with the focus being out (bottom chart is still too far outside DoF).

Hope to be able to correct the focusing issue so I can repeat this.

I'm quite interested in testing that produces solid evidence-backed results such as this. Do you plan to test other FSU lenses? Between resolution testing here and the light transmission tests in brankop's thread, some really good information is being established.

At f/11 I can see up to 90 lp/mm (element 13) as the DoF extends focus to the bottom chart which includes elements up to 20.

I only have the Jupiter-8m atm, but I am keen on both the Jupiter-9 and Jupiter-12... all in good time.

I hope to be able to fix the focus problem, so I can reliably focus first though! :)
