jupiter with visor on bessa r

After asking around I finally purchased a Bessa R with J8 and so far am very pleased. Thanks a lot for the advice. I'll try to get some shots up soon.
One question, I also just received today a visor from fedka to fit on the lens, it's the metal circular one. The problem is that it covers up quite a section of the rangefinder. Is there any way around this, cutting holes or something, or do I just have to get used to it like that? Also in others experience how much does this Jupiter 8 flare?

You need a "Vented hood" 40.5mm
