I'm wondering if the cap from a Kodak 35 with the Anistigmat would have fit, and the guy could have saved a lot of money. Looks about the same size, and is a metal clip-on.

There is no mention of it being a genuine Zeiss cap, and I can not recall seeing anyhing like it in my books or Zeiss literature -- I was only mildly interested at the opening price of $9.99🙂.
