Just bought a new XP1 body

Also bought a used XT1 w/18-55 lens. Both from BH.

I bought the XP1 because they are stupid cheap now and I like this style camera. Mostly, I bought it to use legacy OM lenses with. After I opened the camera, charged the battery and put in an SD card, I mounted a low cost adapter and a 24mm Zuiko lens. Set the camera to no lens, aperture priority, EVF, and Bob's your uncle. Manually focusing via the EVF is easy peasy. So now, I've got a few old lenses I can use with this camera (as well as the XT1 and the old OM-1's I still have and use on occasion.

All that said, I found a used 35mm f/2 Fuji lens which will be the main one I use with this camera. The camera came with the most current firmware (I had to update the used XT1 from 3.1 to 4.3).

My oldest son just tried a couple pictures using it with a Zuiko 35mm f/2.8. He's never had to focus a lens before! It's really a great camera to use with a legacy lens so long as you use the EVF.

Good call. The 35/2's AF is quick on the X-T1 and faster than the 35/1.4 on the X-Pro 1.

I still like the output from X-P1 better than those from the X-Ts and the X-Es.
