The Elmarit-R 19mm v1 has a very big front element, but it feels at home on the R8.

Well, shortly after posting in this thread earlier, I started to break down my R8 kit and sold all but the body off. I tried for almost a month and a half to sell it without a result and was about to trade it off when I got a soft spot. So, instead, I picked up a new 50/2 3CAM and I am back in the saddle!

It's just too nice a camera for the crazy low prices they're going for these days.

That is EXACTLY where I ended up. After all was said and done, it ultimately was not worth trading either!

Having had the 50/2 before and stupidly selling it, it was actually a bit of a relief purchasing another! This combo is a "lifetime" type of camera.
