Well the bad thing is it's driving price up, and that's bad news for us poor souls

I think the discussion here should be why someone would pay this much for a plain old regular production M3. So what if it's EX+? I've seen mint in box, never touched by an ungloved hand M3s go for much less. If it was a factory black M3 in the same condition I might understand it. Not that I agree with it, mind you. Leicas are working machines, not collectors items to sit in a safe. That's what Canadian Maple Leafs are for.
