Just Discovered "The Candid Frame" podcast. Is that "our" Bill Pierce?
Might be old news -- and the last thing I need is something else to eat up the bits of my data plan, but The Candid Frame is a podcast where each week a photographer is interviewed for around an hour. Bill, I'm around 20 minutes in to your interview (I just discovered this... I listened to Ralph Gibson first, then you... no offense, hopefully. The Gibson interview was also excellent.)
Your interview is excellent thus far. Wow. Look forward to hearing the rest. If anyone is unfamiliar with The Candid Frame (and I assume many are...) Well worth checking out. Bill's interview is episode 247.

Thanks for the information, Nick. I didn't know about The Candid Frame until now. Looks like a lot of enjoyable late night hours of listening there... starting tonight with Bill.

I was almost afraid of posting this because I thought it might be "old news", so I'm glad others were unaware of of it. It is "very" well done from what I heard thus far.
Do check out Ralph Gibson's interview. His inspired me to do a book, and also to have a self-imposed constraint (he uses a term that eludes my memory at the moment...) So I decided to just use my 85/1.4 for six months at f2.8 and pick a "subject" (tbd) and see what I come up with. But definitely check out Gibson too.
Both interesting cats, worth the time.

It is indeed our Bill. I've listened to The Candid Frame for almost a year now and it's great. Ibarionex is a great interview, lots of useful information on his show.

I finished the rest of Bill's interview today. Ibarionex is, indeed, very good as an interviewer. I've only listened to two thus far, having only discovered The Candid Frame less than a week ago. Apart from being interesting, there as an applicable take away from each of these interviews. For me, some advice Gibson made on the capture side, and something Bill said on the post side.
Excellent. Highly recommended if you haven't listened to it.

I haven't listened to the Bill Pierce interview yet but your right the Ralph Gibson interview was really good. The Jamal Shabazz interview is good too.

I've listened to The Candid Frame since Ibarionex Perello started it. He was one of the earlier podcasters in the photography space and tried to focus on something different from "gear, gear, and more freekin' gear."
The podcasts are always absolutely wonderful interviews and worth listening to, but it took him a year or so to get the recording quality up to par. The recent ones are superb.
