PS Except for photos to put on ebay I don't think I shot any digital this year! 🙂
I've starting using a google docs spreadsheet to keep track of what I'm shooting and how I'm developing it. I've still got a lot of data entry to do, but all of 2008 is in there already:

Not that I was a big film user this year, but I keep track of all the info with a FileMaker database. I open a new record for each roll, and number it by the date I finish shooting it. There's tech data, scan details, printing detail including prints given, and of course a commentary on subjects shot. I can search the database by camera, lens, film, subject etc etc. Probably overkill for many, but I find the info useful and don't find the record-keeping unpleasant. FWIW, I keep a similar database on all my photo gear.you all seem to shoot much more than me, and still can keep track of what you've shot and how much!
HOW DO YOU DO THAT?
