Well-known
And it is great. I don't understand the nit-picking some people do about this camera.
(The M4-2)
Made in Canada...
Very smooth, and for a Leica man that has always used knob rewind Leicas, the LTM ones and the earlier "M" models, the rewind crank, and the quick load makes this camera faster loading than a camera with a door that opens up for loading, such as the Voigtlander. At least for me, as I am quite use to taking off, and putting back on the bottom of a Leica.

Congrats!, it's a nice M model, I have an M4-P and love it.

My M5s need red dots!
Somewhere I read that the Canadian Leica factory has always been unfairly treated by Leica purists... The Leica plant was responsible for a lot of designs and ideas later brought to Solms, and the best Leica long lens (either the Elmarit of the 'cron 90) was made in Canada.
So, see you bright M4-2 under a new light: it's one good Leica body!
