Just got an R2

Hi everyone,

New to this forum and new to rangefinders!! Waiting for my first one to arrive, an olive green (mmmm) Bessa R2.
What I need is some advice on lenses. I'm looking at 35mm or 40mm. Can anyone recommend me some good "affordable" options? I'm also a bit confused about which lenses I can use with it. Can the R2 only accept the M lenses??

No 40mm frame on an R2 -- though given the general accuracy of RF frames, maybe that's not so important. From a comparison of frame sizes on MP, ZI, R2 and others, see

All screw lenses can be adapted to the R2 via a screw-to-bayonet adapter.
