Just got the film out of the camera...

Does that stress you out too? I have had a roll in my T and one in my SRT 101 for a while. I have been shooting, but only a shot or two here and there. It took forever to finish the rolls. And I hate to start a new roll in a different camera if I have one working. Well, I took a walk out at a frozen boat launch yesterday with the SRT and just slapped the 21 on the T this morning and shot my son with his dragons.

I am glad those rolls are over.

I think I will load up the Canon L1 now and tote it around with a simple 2 lens kit for a little while now.

I had a roll of out of date Velvia 50 in my Canon F1 for over a year - stopped me using the camera because I was never in a situation where I needed Velvia or wanted to shoot at ISO 50 - seldom use a tripod. Ditched the roll a couple of months ago (I'd shot a few frames, but so long ago that I couldn't remember what of) and stuck some Delta 400 in which did get used. Now has a new roll HP5+, but it will take me a while to finish off as I shoot mainly digital currently.

I pulled a roll out of my R3M last week. It had water on it! Developed it came out fine.

i had a roll of expired (in 2005!) provia in my super ikonta since the end of summer. I was a bit afraid what might have happened to the frames i shot. But all images came out fine.
Seems that film is not THAT sensitive to room temperature storage.

Well i just start to appreciate having film in the camera for a long time.Seeing the pics then is like an unexpected blast from a not so distant past.
Different from looking at older pics.

Yes, it happens to me as well; in those cases i figure that i lose nothing if i just fill the rest of the roll with random whatever things, and once in a while something interesting comes out of these "last shots" 🙂
This is valid since i stopped getting prints from the minilab simultaneously with developing.

yeah, I don't have a problem shooting a half roll of b&w.. but I'll always finish off a roll of C41 since it doesn't cost any extra to blow the rest of the film on random objects

I developed a roll that was in my CL about 3 weeks ago, and half the shots were from July! that's the one sucky thing about having too many nice cameras to use

I have stopped getting prints of my "artistic" work, only those of my grandsons. Minilab develops and scans to cd or I get a contact print. Save money either way. Oldest film in camera 2-3 months.

For me, the Hexar can be a killer in this respect due to the max shutter speed of 1/250. Sometimes I load up Neopan 1600 @ 1600 and shoot half a roll in low light. The camera is then unuseable unless I have more low light situations.

Fed 5 has kodak Gold 200 still in from before Christmas-3 frames left.🙁 🙂

QL-17 has Fuji supera 400 from a month ago-not even 1/2 exposed.🙁

Zorki 2c Fresh roll of xp-2 36exp 1/2 used up-been playing with the 50 elmar.😀

slr has film in it from last summer. Can't remember what right now.😱 😕

The rest are empty...Thank God!😉

I'm happy enough to wait to finish the film another time. The Hexar lens cap won't stay on once you put a filter on anyway. It's a good idea though.

Boy...we have had some pretty strong winds comming down from Canada over the past couple of days...Nice sunshine but cold. After such an embarrising post, I determined to finish off that roll in the Fed 5. So I grabbed a couple of shooters, braved the wind and took a stroll up town. I'm glad to report the 5 is empty and the finished product is ready for the developer. Weather is calling for 50 & 60 deg. temps this week so I'm going to finish off the Canonet and Zorki this week.

I rewound and pulled a roll (Walgreens 200, C41, made in Germany --> Agfa!) from my grandpa's EOS 620. I bet he hasn't shot that camera in about 10 years. I can't wait to see what's on that roll!

I had forgotten this anxiety that goes with shooting film in multiple cameras, hehehe.

I was feel ever so uncomfortable with a film sitting in a camera with just one or two exposures made..

I'm forever rewinding and reloading film between camera bodies to make sure I'm working on a single roll only, and that that roll doesn't sit too long. Which is ludicrous of course since a roll costs a couple of dollars only and the image can sit there undeveloped for months without ill effect...
