For an 85mm LTM lens, be it Canon or Nikon or Steinheil, etal, use a 28/90 LTM to M adapter which will bring up the 90 framelines on any Leica M camera, (except the ones without rangefinders 😉).
I couldn't find the batteries here in semi-rural Arkansas so I bought some on line.
The more I use the camera the more I love it. Especially the viewfinder. It's so big and bright compared to other 35mm cameras. I got the silver body with a black 35mm lens. It may seem like a strange combination but I find it's easier to read the lens markings on a black lens.
Hey! You live in Arkansas? I am from Arkansas, and my family lives there! I would too if I wernt in college in Savannah, GA.
Anyway, where did you buy your Zeiss from? An online retailer or did you buy it in a camera shop in Arkanas? I would imagine that none of the camera shops in Arkansas sell Zeiss Ikon gear or even Leica I would imagine.
I'm seriously thinking about buying a ZI ZM, but Not sure yet. :\
Ted bought his ZI from Tony Rose of popflash.photo, as did I and other RFforum members. I have bought 4 or 5 lenses from popflash and, without exception, I have been treated fairly. Tony Rose's service is second to none.
As an aside, Ted's choice of the silver ZI with the black lenses is the way I chose to go as well. So much easier to read, and they look smashing🙂
