last night, when I was just arrived at home from work, pulled out all my stuff from the car, I took bessa II out from the passenger side (hold it on the leather rope), and suddenly the leather was cut and it dropped around 1.5 meter, a hard drop to the floor. what the heck !
I didn't believe that when I checked it, there was no dent anyhow, just small paint scratch on the corner of the body.
then today I check the RF alignment, still correct, no change in horizontal/vertical alignment. the RF movement still OK, focus check is accurate as well (checked with glass plate on the film area)
the first time I get bessa II, I know that it built like a tank (really!!)
comparing my mess ikonta and bessa II is like comparing a wooden block to a brick. now I know that Bessa II is as solid as it seen.
any experience from yours ?

It's good to know, although I hope I won't have any chance to put the resistance of mine to test...
