Just making sure this is normal and why; no lower frame lines

I noticed that on my 35mm and my 28mm frame lines there is no lower frame line like there is on the 50mm frame lines.


I looked at some pictures online and it seems like other R-D1s' are like this, I just wanted to make sure that this was normal and ask why this would be this way...

It's the same here (I don't know why!): Only short frame lines in the lower edges @ 28 mm and 35 mm.
