Yesterday received a Zorki 6 with I-50 f3.5 and I-61L/D , this I-61 is a wonderful performer, got back great photos today. Just test shots on a 12 exp roll. Very impressive.Like it as much or more than the Jup-8 I use on the Leica and Fed2. Also
got a Kiev 4aM with Helios 103 53mm 1.8 which I will run through its paces tomorrow,
The Kiev is a very outstanding piece of work but I'm having a hard time with the ""Contax Grip". The focus wheel works toward infinity opposite to my Nikon S2 which is counter-intuitive to me but I will work through it.I also got in Contax/Kiev mount a Jup-12 35mm lens which if as good as in M39 form will be an asset. 😀

The Kiev 4AM with Helios 103 makes for an excellent system. Very good and fast lens on an interesting camera. Yes, the Contax grip takes a bit of doing and the focus wheel goes "the wrong way."

As I have a bit of an eye problem and could see much better through the viewfinder in a Bessa R, I sold my Kiev to Jan Normandale in Toronto. However, the Kiev did a proper job as a 35mm camera, plus it was good-looking and quite a conversation piece on occasion.

I really like the look of the black and white on the face and top of the 4aM. I think I'll use the lens to focus the closer distances once I free it form infinity lock. I'm also going to use the Jup-12 Kiev mount on the Nikon S2, it fits perfectly and seems to focus correctly also. I love seeing Max's grip on his Kiev in his avatar, he has got it down !
