Just received my Kiev-4 -- so excited

I just received my new Kiev-4. I picked it up on e-bay for 42 bucks including shipping.
I know what I'll be doing this weekend. I'm slowly building my collection of FSU cameras. To date I have a FED-3, Zorki-4 and now a Kiev-4. I think it's a good start.
My wife says that's enough. We'll see !!

It seem that you have to set the aperture before you focus. It you do it he other way round. The focus changes as you move the aperture ring.
Is this the way it works.

Yep, that's the way it works, as focusing on 50mm is by the internal helical.

Congratulations...I haven't any Kiev at the moment...but never say never...maybe I'll buy one on next GAS attack 🙂
I know it's a great camera with a nice lens...don't forget to show us some pictures taken with that nice combo...
