.. and I almost broke in tears. That was such a nice and affordable film.
I made a plan of buying a roll of Provia400X every time I go into the local shop. I can't buy a larger stash cos it's so expensive.

I also liked Sensia100 but its loss was o.k. for me: I opted for elitechrome, which is gone now too.

what's left?
velvia50, provia100f, provia400x, AGFA CT (supposed to be provia100) and rollei digibase cr200.

Velvia is too saturated for normal stuff. I haven't tried provia100 (I like astia more) but I don't like AGFA CT so I guess I will not like it either. The rollei is nice but one has to be ultra careful with the synthetic base.

Well time for hording Elitechrome I guess .. the last stock of E100G went up to provia400X prices here.

The future looks pitch black in the moment. (and I didn't even shot tungsten slide)

Sorry to be the one to inform you, but Velvia's discontinuation was recently announced by Fuji...

I have moved to print film now, and even the selection over here isn't as large as it used to be. My freezer full of Astia100F and Provia400F is down to 2 rolls. Provia400x isn't an option for me as it's too costly where I'm at, so I now live in printville... 🙁

actually Agfa precisa ct is sensia 100. according to the local photo store who have confirmed it with Fuji, and who import and sell it at about $6/roll

let's see the scans of sensia 400! i've never seen/used that film.

Well, Agfa precisa used to be Sensia 100 a couple of years ago, IIIRC. Then Sensia was discontinued and ever since, Agfa Precisa has been Provia 100F, at least here in Europe.

daylight w/ 100% crop of a 3000dpi original (actually scanned at 7200 reduced to 3000 for rationalism) same roll, same camera & lens
I love the grain .. it's not too pronounced and kinda honest.

I urge you to be very specific when you say that online, because searches tend to end up on these forums pretty often.

For the record, it's Velvia 100f in all formats and Velvia 50 in 4x5 and 8x10. Velvia 50 is still available in 120 and 35. (for now anyway)
