Just souped my first 120. WOA!

The 120 film cameras can produce some amazing negatives and transparencies.

I use Rolleiflex cameras, in addition to the Fuji G690BL and the Graflex XLSW. I am taking these days mostly 120 film, with the expectation to scan the negatives one day soon. I inspect the negatives with a 10x lupe, and I amazed by the details.

The 4x5 Linhof is waiting patiently to be used one day.

What's the problem you're finding with the V700?
Pete

The film holders for all the Epson scanners (AND PARTICULARLY medium format) are absolutely horrible. I can get reasonable 35mm scans, but have never been happy with the 120 holders on the 4990, the V500, or the V700.

Am going to try the Betterscanning holders. Probably one of the real reasons why flatbeds are less capable... no good scanning holders. This happens to be one of the areas where I feel it pays to get a drum scan just to have a basis for comparison, or at least find someone with a Nikon 9000 to get that comparison.
