melanie c has been an influence on me...ever since seeing her rina case from a&a, i have wanted one.

after recently buying the hexar af, the 21 and the 28 cv lenses i just spent the last few camera related bucks i had on that same rina case from rich at photo village.

i think it's perfect for throwing a camera into a bag and not having to worry about it.

i am really looking forward to using it!

Looks great Joe... I have a couple of <$10 p&s cases that I use for the same purpose. They are obviously nowhere near as convenient as the a&a case, but do the job for me...

i like that it's made for this purpose and i'm hoping that it will last long enough to be worth the price.
i did look around locally but found nothing that compared, nothing even came close.

plus it's black & red...my favourite colour!

It fits my M3 + 50 + hood perfectly and I have no reason to believe it won't last a long time. It still probably isn't worth $50, but lacking any alternatives that were JUST EXACTLY the right size and also padded, I'm not sorry I bought it.

Plus it's cute and girly. Also, I think anyone who looked into my purse with nefarious purposes in mind would see nothing but a makeup case unless they know what red dots mean.

Nice ! 🙂

For this same purpose I've recycled the 'toilet pouches' that the long way Spanish trains give when you get an overnight cabin with the usual toothbrush, paste, soap, etc inside. They are not padded of course but they do the trick, and something I like a lot is the sides are made of a kind of very tight net material which allows air to enter, so they are also great to storage cameras when they are in the shelf since they prevent moisture from growing inside and makes it easier to control cameras thanks to that transparent net.

Wow, if this paragraph above doesn't clasify me as a camera geek, I wonder what would do ! 😛

Perhaps you can educate me then. Today is my 10th anniversary (with the same wife). She's upstairs sleeping while I'm here on RFF with you. Am I headed in the wrong direction? 🙄

BTW... "ding-dong". Tell me honestly, didn't you drool just a little bit?

I made Joe buy something!

I feel like I have finally arrived.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but it really isn't hard to get Joe to buy camera stuff! 😀
