It doesn't hang or have rings for straps. It honestly is basically a fancy makeup case with a neoprene lining and a red dot on it.

Don't feel bad, Joe. I, too, have lusted after that A&A makeup, er, ah, camera case. Don't know that I have a real need for it (hah, as if that ever stopped me), but have always thought it looked mighty nice in the online pics. Girly, cute, whatever, it still looks nice. Do let us know what you think of it when you get it. Oh, and how that weightlifting regimen is working out for you... 😀

I think I want one of these cases. I usually carry one camera and lens with me and it just gets tossed on a seat or on the floor of my car. Carrying a bag is too much trouble. If I get one of these I can keep it in the case in my car and remove it when I walk around. But $50 does seem kinda steep...

It honestly doesn't look like a make-up bag (not quite sure what one looks like) but just as a slick, kinda shiny black bag. When I saw it the first time {crotch scratch} I thought it was a Leica bag as that red dot sure looks exactly like the well known emblem. From a size and protection perspective I'd say it looks perfect if you wanna dump your camera into a larger bag (or have it float around something else big). It is NOT a bag you can carry around on its own - it needs to be IN something."
