Just updated my site with new work

Marko! You've got a keen eye for environmental abstracts. I tend to classify my work under the same umbrella. That being said, I dig it! The shot of the back alley garages with the directional light really resonates with me. Just a nice, observatory shot. Keep it up...I know how hard it is to say 'it's good enough' for people to see and show others. Check mine out when you get the chance!

Andrew thanks a lot man! Your words mean a lot and feel like we are speaking the same language.. You know I have looked at your work before I'm sure it was from a post on the forum.. You hit the nail on the head environmental abstract! You get it, I really liked your "For George" portfolio.. I see a moody, dreamy, darkness to your work with an overlaying environmental abstractness.. Keep it up! Are you on flickr or Instagram? Would be great to connect..

I don't mean to hijack this thread at all - I'm on instagram but it's more of a daily life (weekly? I don't update often) thing. Should be under 'awbphoto.' The For George project was taken during and after a very dark period of my life - 2011, when my best friend and room mate went missing and was ultimately found deceased. The photos there illustrate my head space whilst trying to figure out what happened, and then...after finding out. I'm glad to hear you picked up on the moody darkness around that body of work. Thank you for your kind words. I think this type of work- environmental abstracts- is important as it's what's most accessible for a lot of photographers who live otherwise busy lives. Cheers.

Very interesting, there was an image of what looked like sparks maybe it was a campfire with this person at the edge of the frame...Not a problem at all Andrew..look forward to seeing more work..

Marko -- you got some great stuff going on! I found some of your series are very strong (e.g., Alley Ways, Maxwell Street), others are weaker (e.g., flee market, storefronts). Overall, I loved your work with color best.
