Hi,
I may bit out on my own here... but was there ever a daylight loading device or similar for Karat or Agfa Karat cassettes as used on cameras where the 35mm film runs cassette to cassette in lengths of 12?

Going by pre war ads, there seem to have been daylight loading spools (film with a paper leader and a cardboard disc top and bottom) to fill into cartridges. No loaders I am aware of, but assuming the Karat system to behave like its Rapid sibling, the film is pushed into the cassettes by the camera transport - I always found it trivial to simply shove film into Rapid cassettes.

Yup they are the same...I'm sure I've seen a loading device, somewhere, along time ago...so that one doesn't need dark bag or darkroom.
