I'm not in the holiday spirit, and I performed one of the most selfish things I could do, and that is be greedy taking advantage of a big sale and buying myself presents.

I took advantage of a 15% sale after mining KEH's site and my lucky find was a Topcon 250 frame bulk loader that can be easily adopted to respooling 400 foot rolls into 100 foot rolls that can fit a daylight loader. My cost $27.00 and it kinda a nice art object and toy to play with.

I had buyers remorse because the sale ended and I wished that I was greedier, then KEH had another 15% off sale. I ended up buying a very clean "E+" IIIG for no money (another camera that I lusted that I don't really need)

Then today I further added to my greedy haul by taking advantage of KEH's 30% off sale on accessories. Among my items I got a rare Leica ASPUL to help me bulk load cassettes at a great price.

Anyways it is time to be greedy and load up.

Yes, I'm calling them today to get the extra 10% that I didn't get yesterday.

UPDATE: their sales dept is pissed at their marketing dept. Nothing but phone calls cancelling yesterday's orders only to replace them at the lower price today.

"I'm going to send all these calls to marketing so they can deal with it."

That's a good deal.

I've been mining out the unusual and rare. Believe it or not I found a LN black paint 35 Cron ASPH at a really great price. Came boxed and in my rating system I would judge it as "unused." Saved about $1K off of EBAY dealer pricing.

At this point, because I already have so much gear, it is really like collecting treasure. Not all is expensive. I found a 45/2.8 Super Rokkor in LTM (Minolta before it became Minolta) for $268.00. Ex+ condition and recently cleaned.

If it is 50% tomorrow I will likely buy something even if I don't need it. Now suddenly I have that Christmas spirit. LOL.

Seriously, I feel KEH has me profiled, and at this point they know that I only waste time on the internet at work at my boring day job. I expect that I will be further targeted on Monday when I'm at work. That's what happened last time, so I deem it unlikely that KEH will blast me with yet another offer until Monday. It does seem like KEH has me profiled pretty well.

Yes, I feel that the KEH emails have been coming more frequently once they switched to the new website. Some of the deals I've seen - there's no freaking way a gear junkie like myself can resist.

I'm convinced that KEH has people like us profiled. LOL.

While some people hate the new layout, I discovered it is an asset in searching through the vast inventory. Like a search engine I use the filters they provide. This is how I find things I might otherwise not ever find.

That's how I found a Topcon 250 bulk loader for $27.00 that easily becomes the solution to respooling 400 foot rolls of Kodac 5222 into 100 foot lengths for bulk loading.

At this point I need other peoples help to deplete KEH's inventory so I have less things I have to buy. LOL.

Pleae help me. LOL.

Film is not an accessory either.

Thanks, guys, for enabling my shopping habit. I did pick up a Sekonic L-438 pocket spotmeter, which looks pretty cool.

At 40% off and free shipping I finally gave in and picked up a EX condition Rolleinar II bay 3.

In total, it was cheaper than most recent sales on ebay and ought to be better condition/lower risk.
