Ordered a Canon 7 from KEH, turns out they didnt have it so I was on the hunt again for a good film body for my vacation and move to Alaska from Texas. Went on ebay last night and found a great M2 from a nice older gentleman who has had the camera since 1977! He had it factory serviced and exercised the shutter a few times a year but hasn't used it much. Kind of like buying that cherry old hot rod from the little old lady who kept it in the garage for all those years...
Anyway I picked up this M2 for $595, he included a full M case with big nose, 2 OEM Leitz LTM-M adapters for 35 & 50 (just need a 90 and I am set) and a M Cap. He also threw in a "mint" (he says, but for free who would complain) FED 5C and 50mm lens (don't know which one yet) Should have it by Friday or Saturday, I will post some photos when I get it in the "M Porn" thread.
Does this sound like I got a good deal? I though so with the included accessories and since it only had a few bright marks and the shutter and speeds are right, and the finder is clean and clear.
